The NFL will give fans the gift of football action this Christmas. Week 17 of the NFL season kicks off with a trio of games on Christmas Day.
As the playoffs inch closer, teams are jockeying for a run at the postseason and higher seeding to position themselves for a chance to make the Super Bowl.
All three Christmas Day games will be streamed, signaling the NFL’s continued growth in that arena. Kelly Clarkson will get the day started on Netflix when she sings “Underneath the Tree”before the first game.
Here’s a look at the three Christmas Day games and how you can watch them.
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders

The Cowboys brushed off a slow start to the season to thrust themselves into the playoff conversation before being officially eliminated, while the Commanders came into the 2025 with high hopes after appearing in last season’s NFC Championship Game. However, key injuries, including one to quarterback Jayden Daniels, derailed their season.
Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings

The Lions and their high-octane offense are still mathematically alive for a playoff berth, while the Vikings, a year removed from making the playoffs, are playing out the string.
Fans can also tune in for Snoop Dogg’s halftime show in what is being called “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party.”
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs hen’t had a losing season since 2012, but that streak has come to an end this year, while the Broncos are fighting for the top seed in the AFC. The Chiefs will be without star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is done for the season with a torn ACL, while the Broncos, who he not won a playoff game since winning the Super Bowl in 2016, he their eyes on winning the AFC West and parlaying that to a title run.
