We've taken to cutting the base plates from a 5-pack of plates in half to experiment on.

And the results of last night's experiments!  We were trying to get close to Magpul's discontinued Foliage Green.  All are using 4 cups of water in a breadpan and a 3-5 minute soak.

1 teaspoon Camel, 1/2 teaspoon Emerald Green, 1/2 teaspoon Aquamarine.

4 teaspoons Dark Green, 2 teaspoons Lemon Yellow.  (Perhaps the greener zombie green you were thinking of?)

1/2 teaspoon Pearl Gray, 1/2 teaspoon Dark Green.

1-1/2 teaspoon Pearl Gray, 1/2 teaspoon Dark Green.

2-1/2 teaspoon Pearl Gray, 1/2 teaspoon Dark Green.

1-1/2 teaspoon Pearl Gray, 1/2 teaspoon Camel.  8-10 minute soak.

The tan above it is: 1/2 teaspoon Tangerine, 1/4 teaspoon Pearl Gray, 1/4 teaspoon Dark Green (Rit's official recipe for FDE).

The last green-gray as compared to Foliage Green (right).  I think I discovered Foliage Dark Earth, it's about halfway between FDE and FOL.
