A wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is set to move across south-central Pennsylvania, making Friday an Alert Day and Saturday an Impact Day.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of the Susquehanna Valley from Friday morning to Saturday morning.

Precipitation timeline:
A wintry mix will develop by early afternoon from west to east, between 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It will start as light snow in most areas before changing to sleet and freezing rain by Friday evening as warmer air moves in. Sleet and freezing rain will continue until around 3 a.m. Saturday. Precipitation will be gone by sunrise.Snow/sleet totals: Coating to two inches.
Ice/freezing rain: 0.10 to 0.20 inches.
Temperatures: Highs near 32 degrees before falling to the upper 20s Friday night.
Icy roads impact SaturdayImpact Day: The Storm Team has designated Saturday as an Impact Day, meaning the weather could disrupt your normal daily schedule or routine.
The icy and hazardous trel conditions are a concern for Saturday.
Cold temperatures: After the icy mix ends Saturday morning, temperatures will be slow to warm. Highs reach the low 30s.
Trel conditions: Watch for icy, slippery roads and slick spots on sidewalks and in parking lots. Untreated surfaces will likely remain icy through the early afternoon.
Damage/power outages: The National Weather Service says downed trees and branches and power outages are possible due to the ice.
