JMC plans, prepares and executes Joint Warfighting Assessments and other concept and capability assessments, provides objective analysis and feasible recommendations to enhance Multi-Domain Command and Control and inform Army Modernization decisions. On order, conducts directed assessments in support of Cross Functional Teams.

Who is Joint Modernization Command?
Joint Modernization Command plans and executes worldwide multi-echelon, joint, and multinational live experiments in support of the Army’s modernization strategy enabling a multi-domain operations-capable Army.
JMC is located in Fort Bliss, Texas, consisting of NCO and Officer Professionals from across the spectrum of warfighting functions.
There are three divisions within JMC supported by a complete General Staff and Simulations Center. The Multi-Domain Operations Group specializes in Multi-Domain Operations Concept and the concepts that support operationalizing MDO. Multi-Domain Command and Control focuses on the conceptual and technical interoperability to include joint and multinational. The Field Experiments Division ensures emerging technology and new capabilities are integrated into a realistic scenario. The three divisions are supported by the commanding general’s staff to put new concepts and capabilities in the hands of Soldiers and leaders providing user feedback to Army Senior Leaders for Modernization decisions.
