Tame Impala kicked off their 2025 US arena tour last night (Monday October 27), where they debuted material from new album ‘Deadbeat’. Watch footage and see the full setlist below.
Kevin Parker played the first of four shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, ahead of further scheduled dates in Chicago, Austin, San Diego, Los Angeles and Oakland.

Tame Impala debuted ‘Deadbeat’ cuts ‘Afterthought’, ‘Ethereal Connection’, ‘Not My World’, ‘Obsolete’ and ‘Piece Of Heen’ during the 24-track gig, per Setlist.FM. The show also saw Parker deliver a three-song DJ set from a B-stage, where he sat amongst synths, gear and old-fashioned lamps.
To begin the encore, the group played a live rendition of ‘Neverender’ – their Grammy-winning collaboration with Justice. The band then closed out the night with fan-fourite ‘The Less I Know The Better’ and ‘Deadbeat’ lead single ‘End Of Summer’.
Elsewhere, Tame Impala treated the crowd to performances of their recent singles ‘Dracula’ and ‘Loser’, as well as an airing of ‘My Old Ways’. Additionally, there was a selection of big tracks from Parker’s catalogue, such as ‘Let It Happen’, ‘Elephant’, ‘Alter Ego’, ‘Eventually’, ‘Apocalypse Dreams’ and ‘New Person, Same Old Mistakes’.
His previous album, 2020’s ‘The Slow Rush’, was represented by outings of ‘Borderline’ and ‘Breathe Deeper’. Check out a selection of fan-shot footage and photos from the first Brooklyn gig here:

Tame Impala will return to the Barclays Center for a second gig at the arena tonight (Tuesday October 28).
Following their current run of US dates, the band are scheduled to head out on a UK and European tour next spring, including a show at The O2 in London on May 7. Further performances will follow in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Dublin. Find any remaining tickets here.
In other news, Tame Impala recently recorded a live session for A24’s new music series, Sound Check, directed by The Iron Claw filmmaker Sean Durkin. Additionally, they showcased ‘Deadbeat’ in a stripped-back set for NPR’s Tiny Desk.

Meanwhile, Parker has responded to critics claiming he’s gone “commercial” with his new music to “make money”. He also recently revealed that his hit and fan fourite ‘Elephant’ “almost didn’t make” it onto 2012’s ‘Lonerism’.
In other news, the musician and producer has admitted to singing “gibberish” during Tame Impala’s performance of ‘Borderline’ on SNL in 2019. “I didn’t he lyrics ready for the song,” he explained when talking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.
