The current facilities of Karnataka Prasi Souda (KPS) is part of the donations & charities made by the erstwhile kings of Mysore Kingdom for the welfare of the people visiting Tirumala. After independence, as natural progression the facilities are being owned and managed by Government of Karnataka. KPS comes under Karnataka choultries maintained by Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments (KHRICE) Department. Located in the prime location of Tirumala, pilgrims can easily reach out to KPS to ail accommodation.
