Developed by Greg Glassman, CrossFit has been described as ‘constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity’. What does that mean?

It’s constantly varied – we combine all the best parts of sports like gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing, calisthenics, HIIT (high intensity interval training) and more, so that you’re feeling constantly challenged. You’ll workout in small teams lead by a personal trainer, so you’re surrounded by like-minded people to help keep you inspired.

It’s functional movement – which means we’re helping you become fit for the real world. We’re not training you to become a weight-lifter, or a runner (although if you are either of those you’ll find real benefit in mixing up your routine with CrossFit), but instead, helping your body move in a way that it feels stronger, better, and more equipped to deal with life’s challenges.

It’s high intensity – it’s about maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest amount of time. That means you’re working hard, but you can easily fit it into your daily life.
