1. Prepress
Our team downloads your PDF file in order to check and perform colorization. The file is then sent to the printing press, and configured with the right quantity.
2. Printing
A 500 kilogram reel of paper is mounted on an unwinder. The paper web is cleaned and centered, and printed on the front by the first printing tower. Paper is dryed and a turning bar allows the back face to be ready for print. The paper web is then centered again, printed at its back and dryed, before beign rewinded.
3. Finishing
The printed reel is mounted on a newspaper finishing line. The paper web is cutted into sheets of paper that are stacked and ejected into a folding machine once the newspaper is complete. For the broadsheet size, a second fold is performed.
4. Quality checks
Our team check the quality and quantity of the newspapers before grouping and putting them into a plastic sleeve to oid moisture. Then, boxes are prepared for shipping and picked-up by UPS or FedEx. In order to provide a fast and reliable service, we work with two printing presses and two newspaper finsihing lines. We'll be able to print your newspapers even if we're under a maintenance or a failure.
