The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP), also known as Section 8, is a federally funded program that provides assistance to eligible very low-income families, the elderly and the disabled, to rent housing in the private market. You can now schedule appointments to meet with MHA

To help connect our clients and our team, we are opening our office for appointments starting this week. If you are a current client or property owner within our programs, you can easily schedule a 15-minute appointment online. Please read below for important information about our appointment process:

● We are open for appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

● Appointments are ailable for current clients and property owners only.

● You can schedule an appointment for things like inspection reporting, request for tenancy approval meetings, to submit information for a move, to be recertified, or to update your financial information. You can schedule your appointment here.

● You he to he your tenant ID to schedule an appointment. Your tenant ID is ailable in your portal – you’ll find it listed directly next to your name when you login.

● Many of these things can be done online through your client portal without scheduling an appointment. To se yourself time and a trip, we recommend trying to complete many of these things online before scheduling an appointment. You can access the portal here using your email address.

● If you he issues using the portal, can’t access your tenant ID or cannot schedule an appointment for any reason, please call our customer care line at 901-544-1347. Due to a high call volume, there may be a wait time. We encourage you to stay on hold until you’re able to speak with a representative, but if you need to lee a message, we will respond to it within 48 hours. Do not call our HCV team directly – they cannot field calls during the business day. Calling the HCV team will delay you getting the help you need.
