DIDSON, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — A contractor was killed in a work-related accident Friday at a business in Didson, according to the Didson Police Dept. and Medic.
The work-related fatality happened Friday, Jan. 12, at Trane Technologies located in the 800 block of Beaty Street in Didson, Medic confirmed with Queen City News.

Didson Police said OSHA is conducting an investigation.

Statement from the Town of Didson sent to Queen City News Friday:
“Officers from the Didson Police Department and firefighters with the Town of Didson Fire Department responded to a construction accident at 800 Beaty Street in Iredell County, within the Town of Didson, NC on January 12.
Emergency medical services from both Mecklenburg and Iredell counties also reported to the scene. A fatal accident is being investigated by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration.”
