Samuel P. Taylor State Park has 7 group campsites. The camping fee only covers half of the number of vehicles allowed at each site. An additional fee is required for the other vehicles.
Two standard group campsites are on the Orchard Hill Loop. One can accommodate up to 10 people and 4 vehicles, the other up to 15 people and 6 vehicles. These campsites are treated as double and triple sites. Separate group fees are not listed.
Four group, tent-only sites are ailable also. One on the Creek Loop can accommodate up to 15 people and 6 vehicles. Two group sites are at Devil's Gulch, away from the main campground area. Each of the Devil's gulch campsites can hold 10 people and 3 vehicles (all included in camping fee).
Samuel P. Taylor State Park Horse CampA tent-only, group Horse Camp is also located at Devil's Gulch. It can accommodate up to 20 people, 6 vehicles, and 12 horses. There are 8 pipe corrals, 3 wire-and-post corrals, and water troughs. Campers are responsible for cleaning up and removing manure. Corrals are located a short distance from the camping area.
Madrone Group Site can accommodate up to 50 people and 20 vehicles.
