One intersection every 250 meters without proper turning lanes and advanced left-hand turns on all directions. So vehicles are forced to take chances to make their turn and Pedestrians are paying the price.
Removing 50% of these unneeded intersections would force Drivers to use intersections that are 100% controlled including hing advanced turn lanes. No need to run yellow lights or try to turn on a green when there is a little gap in oncoming traffic. In place of these now closed down intersection, build pedestrian overpasses there.
It would also help to keep traffic flowing smoothly hopefully decreasing road rage incidents.
