Japanese Breakfast had a massive 2021 – they released their third album ‘Jubilee’, which went on to be nominated for a Grammy, and bandleader Michelle Zauner published her acclaimed memoir Crying In H Mart. After that, Japanese Breakfast took a little hiatus, with Zauner moving to Seoul to focus on learning Korean and working on her next book.
