Individual Marketplace coverage and the tax credits that help make it more affordable he transformed health care in the United States, making affordable coverage a reality for tens of millions – including those with pre-existing conditions. Roughly 4.2 million small business owners and self-employed workers across the country get their health insurance through the Individual Marketplace, and most of them (82%) get tax credits to help pay their monthly premium. In Florida, small businesses employ more than 3.5 million people. Extending these tax credits is vital to our state’s economic stability and will allow small business owners to focus on growing their business – and our economy.
