Mason Rudolph will take the reins of the Steelers‘ offense for Pittsburgh’s Week 12 matchup with the Bears.

On Sunday morning, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told CBS’ Evan Washburn that starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been ruled out with a wrist injury that he suffered in Week 11 against the Bengals. Rudolph, who threw for 127 yards and one touchdown in the win over Cincinnati, will replace Rodgers, and 2025 sixth-round pick Will Howard will be the team’s backup QB.

2:55 p.m. ET — The Steelers’ offense starts the second half at their own 25-yard line, but the drive stalls at the 36. Pittsburgh is forced to punt for the first time.

2:35 p.m. ET — The Bears run their two-minute offense and set up Cairo Santos for a buzzer-beating field goal. The Steelers head to the locker room with a four-point lead.

1:05 p.m. ET — A strong opening drive for the Steelers’ defensive unit. It’s a three-and-out, forcing the Bears to punt the ball away to Calvin Austin III.

12:35 p.m. ET — The Bears are also dealing with a significant injury, as linebacker Tremaine Edmunds was recently played on injured reserved. Edmunds has a team-high 89 tackles and is tied for the second-most interceptions in the NFL with four.

12:15 p.m. ET — Aaron Rodgers is on the official list of inactive players for Week 12, so he will watch the game from the sideline.

“[Rodgers] fought his tail off all week, but that’s the prudent play for us to make as a collective,” Tomlin said. “So, he won’t be playing this week. We’ll let Mason start, and obviously he’s absorbed most of the reps this week.”
