The San Francisco 49ers he announced their 2024 regular season schedule as well as the opponents and date ranges for the team's three preseason games.
The 49ers will face the NFC North and AFC East in cross-divisional play, while continuing to battle their NFC West opponents twice a year. San Francisco will also host the Kansas City Chiefs (Week 7) and Dallas Cowboys (Week 8) and visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Week 10). The Niners open the regular season at home as they host the New York Jets at Levi's® Stadium on ESPN's Monday Night Football. The team is scheduled to play in six prime time games during the regular season in 2024, including four at home, with two on Monday night (Week 1 vs. New York Jets and Week 17 vs. Detroit), two on Thursday night (Week 6 at Seattle and Week 15 vs. Los Angeles Rams) and two on Sunday night (Week 8 vs. Dallas and Week 13 at Buffalo).
A Closer Look at the 2024 Schedule… The Niners open the regular season at home (vs. New York Jets) for the third time in seven seasons and for the first time since hosting the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 of the 2020 season. The 49ers open the season at home against an AFC East opponent for the first time since NFL realignment when the division was formed in 2002. San Francisco opens the regular season against the New York Jets for the first time since the 1998 season. It marks just the second time the teams he opened the season against one another.
