I realize that you want to know how to open Word. I understand how you feel.
You mentioned that “you just started using Microsoft 365.” Do you mean that you he just purchased the Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription?
1 -> Do you he the Office applications installed? If not, please install it.
After purchasing the Microsoft 365 subscription, the subscription is associated with Microsoft account.
Log in to this website with the Microsoft account associated with your subscription: https://account.microsoft.com/services Go to the “Subscription” page to find your Microsoft 365 subscription and click “Install” to download it. Open the installer and follow the prompts to complete the installation.2 -> Once the installation is complete, you can find the Word application in the Start menu (Press Windows key to open the Start menu) on your Windows computer.
You can also search for “Word” in the search bar to find it.
3 -> After opening the Word application, log in with the Microsoft account associated with your subscription to activate it. Then, you can use the Word application to edit.
