Liover Peguero clears waivers, sent outright to Triple-A

Liover Peguero cleared waivers on Thursday and was sent outright by the Pittsburgh Pirates to Triple-A Indianapolis. The 24-year-old infielder has now been removed from Pittsburgh's 40-man roster. (Alex Stumpf)

Peguero spent most of the 2025 season at Triple-A, where he slashed .247/.316/.371 across 304 plate appearances. It seems likely that he will return to Indianapolis to begin the 2026 season.
