TikTok personality Epic Gamer Grandma has reportedly died at 78 years old after a battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
On Tuesday (Dec. 23), an update was posted on the Instagram page of the late influencer, whose real name was Agnes, to notify fans that she had died two days before.
A statement written by Agnes' grandson, Culsan, said that Agnes was "holding the hand of her daughter Pauline" upon her death.
"She left the world the way she lived in it: surrounded by love," Culsan continued.
"We watched the strongest woman we know slowly lose her words, and now that she's gone we are drowning in all the things we never got the chance to say back," Culsan wrote. "We are completely heartbroken, but also incredibly proud. Proud of the woman she was long before anyone knew her online."
In the weeks preceding her death, several updates were made on Agnes' TikTok page, the last being in early November, where it was shared that the personality had recovered from COVID and tonsillitis.
But during the visit, Culsan called it "seriously upsetting" that Agnes was nowhere close to returning home after spending three weeks in the hospital after a stroke.
The influencer, who was based in the UK, was known for her comical reactions to TikTok games and filters, including a viral reaction to an explanation about iced coffee.
