Change a Microsoft account passwordIf you know the current password for your Microsoft account, you can create a new password by signing at account.microsoft.com聽Sign in
Tip:聽If you are already signed in, go to 聽聽Security then select the 聽Change Password link at the top of the page.
Enter the current password and then enter your new password.
Tip:聽For additional security, select the optional checkbox which prompts you to update your password every 72 days. For even greater security, you can remove your password or require two steps to sign in. Learn more.
