Introducing Health-e-Arizona Plus coming October 1, 2013. AHCCCS and DES are leveraging the Health-e-Arizona system to not only comply with new requirements for AHCCCS Health Insurance and KidsCare eligibility, but also connect to the Federal Insurance Marketplace. Between Health-e-Arizona Plus and the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace (www.healthcare.gov) Arizona's consumers will he a wide range of program options. Health-e-Arizona Plus will expand to the full range of AHCCCS benefits and continue local health access programs and Nutrition Assistance (Food Stamps) and Cash Assistance benefits. Health-e-Arizona Plus will also serve as a channel to the Federal Insurance Marketplace which will provide the Premium Tax Credit and Cost Sharing Reduction programs to help many Arizonan's with the cost of health insurance.
