Brad Woods brings over 25 years of experience in entertainment, marketing, and brand strategy, including a decade at VIZ Media, where he played a key role in transforming manga and anime into mainstream entertainment. With a strong background in franchise development, digital innovation, and consumer engagement, Woods has helped shape VIZ鈥檚 expansion across publishing, digital media, streaming, and consumer products.
He holds an MBA from USC鈥檚 Marshall School of Business and a BS from the University of Arizona.
Trevor Stordahl Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Trevor Stordahl leads the legal, corporate services, human resources, and IT departments for VIZ Media. Before joining VIZ Media in 2012, he worked at law firms representing tech startups, fashion brands, liquor companies, musicians, and filmmakers.
Trevor has focused his career on supporting artists, entrepreneurs, and corporations so that they can protect their intellectual property and expand their audience. Outside of VIZ, he has served on non-profit boards in connection with publishing and rock climbing. He served as an extern clerk to the Honorable James Larson and the Honorable Stuart R. Pollak. He received a JD from the University of California, Hastings Law, and a BA in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Ken Sasaki Chairman and Executive Advisor
Ken Sasaki serves as Chairman for VIZ Media, developing and maintaining key relationships for the company and acting as an executive advisor for the company鈥檚 strategic initiatives. Since joining VIZ in 2008 as VP of Strategy and Business Development, he later served as CEO for 13 years, leading the company through a period of growth and digital transformation. Under his leadership, VIZ expanded its digital content strategy and extended partnerships that broadened its award-winning manga and anime catalog.
Ken holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering from Keio University. He has worked extensively in both Japan and the United States, bringing a cross-cultural perspective to his leadership.
