Hey there!
Nice to meet you! I'm Randy, an Independent Advisor.
Hey Sai, First, open Device Manager and uninstall anything related to Realtek under “Sound, video and game controllers” and “Audio inputs and outputs.” If it asks to delete the driver software, check that box. Then, delete the Realtek folders from C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86).
Restart your laptop. After booting, open Device Manager again, right-click your PC name at the top, and choose “Scan for hardware changes.” See if any unknown device appears.
Next, go to HP’s support site and download the latest Realtek audio driver for your model. Install it and restart your laptop.
Now press Win + R, type services.msc, and try starting “Windows Audio” and “Realtek Audio Universal Service.” If Realtek still shows Error 2, the service files might still be missing.
As a quick fix, try using the Microsoft driver. In Device Manager, right-click the audio device > Update driver > “Browse my computer” > “Let me pick” > select “High Definition Audio Device.”
Best regards,
