Prince Harry has reunited with his father, King Charles III, for the first time in 19 months.
The father-son duo spent time together at his father’s residence, Clarence House, in London on Sept. 10 over a private tea, Buckingham Palace officials confirmed.

Harry returned to the United Kingdom this week on a rare solo trip to reconnect with the charities and organizations he works with. His visit aligns with the third anniversary of the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Harry and his father had not met in person since February 2024, shortly after Charles had been diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer.
Harry discussed the possibility of mending his relationship with the rest of the royal family during a candid interview with the BBC in May 2025.
“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight. Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has. It would be nice to reconcile,” he said.
The interview came shortly after Harry lost an appeal to get his British security detail restored. Harry lost public funding for his protection after he and his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, stepped down as working members of the royal family in 2020 and relocated to the United States. Now, their security in the U.K. is decided on a case-by-case basis.
Harry, who called the ruling a “surprise,” said during the interview that his father “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff.”
“I’m devastated — not so much as devastated with the loss that I am about the people behind the decision, feeling as though this is OK. Is it a win for them?” he told the BBC.
He added that without a higher level of security, he would hesitate to return to the U.K. with Meghan and their two children,Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4.
“I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point. And the things that they’re going to miss are, well, everything, he said.
“I love my country, I always he done, despite what some people in that country he done ... and I think that it’s really quite sad that I won’t be able to show my children my homeland,” he added.
Harry’s visit comes two weeks after the Season 2 premiere of Meghan’s Netflix lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan.”
