Sphere and The Venetian Resort he unveiled a new experience in the resort’s Waterfall Atrium, to celebrate the upcoming debut of The Wizard of Oz at Sphere. The eagerly-awaited opening is on August 28 – but you can check out this very photographable pop-up already.
The installation is free and open to all fans through the end of the year. It features life-size figures of Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion. They’re journeying down the famous Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City – and you can tag along! Glinda the Good Witch also makes an appearance, so you can snap a photo inside her iconic pink bubble. You’ll be surrounded by over 5,000 vivid silk poppies, evoking the memorable moment when the characters pass through the enchanted poppy field. The Café, located just behind the display, includes themed decorations. Here, you can also grab merchandise tied to the show, so you always remember this experience.
