MatthewComins I'd advise to make a backup beforehand just in case there are any issues.
Go to Settings > (then second tab in) > Backup Diary and se the file to a safe place on your phone.
Then also in that second tab you'll see Cloud Sync. It can all be set up from there. Same in the desktop version. You'll need to login with your Cloud account details on both desktop and android to get the sync working.
If you don't already he a cloud storage account you'll need to set one up with Dropbox, OneDrive etc. Most free accounts give you 2GB which should be plenty for now.
