For some reason, my brand new Honda doesnt come with a compass. A built in compass in a car is essential for treling with no directions. If there were an Apple CarPlay app, I would be able to see which direction im going with a tap of my finger. I know most cars come with it, but the Hondas dont for some reason, even in 2022. I think it would be great to be able to check my direction by tapping the app in my dashboard while im driving. Much easier than hing to illegally use my phone to see it. Nothing is scarier than driving in an unfamiliar rural area (possibly with no cell signal) and not knowing whether youre headed north, south, east or west. Thats why its essential for the directionally challenged, or the id treler/explorer. By the way, the nigation apps dont show a compass on CarPlay either. Only on the phone when its disconnected from the car. If you dont want to make a specific compass app for CarPlay, at least let us see it in Apple Maps or Waze on the dash.
