“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to he anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we he been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not ailable and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even he shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should he never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“
