Madonna celebrates her boyfriend's 29th birthdayThe 66-year-old singer, who has had to deal with some serious health issues in the past few years, officially started dating Akeem Morris last summer. On Sunday 5 May 2025, Madonna shared some pictures of what looked like a star-studded party. Indeed, she celebrated her boyfriend's 29th birthday with a private perfomance from YG Marley. The party was attended by the singer's three youngest daughters, 19-year-old Mercy and 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere. The caption read as follows:

One Love……..The pictures show Madonna proudly sitting on her boyfriend's lap, and leading a Happy Birthday song for him. Akeem Morris also shared pictures from the party, along with the caption:

Who is Akeem Morris?According to Elle, Akeem Morris is a 29-year-old football player. He was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, before moving to New York where he attended the Stony Brook University. He played football at university, officially making it his career as he went on to play for the premiere league team Oyster Bay United FC. Although he does not seem to he a media presence, Akeem Morris is reported to live in New York City. The couple is believed to he known each other for a few years before becoming an item. Indeed, Akeem Morris first appeared on Madonna's photo shoot for the cover of Paper Magazine in August 2022. At the time, the singer was still dating boxer Joshua Popper, but they later called it quits in the spring of 2024.
On 4 July 2024, Madonna shared a post on Instagram, showing off her new boyfriend for the first time. She took the opportunity to thank her fans for their support during her struggles with septic shock the past year. The pictures showed her strolling alongside Akeem Morris, hand in hand. She wrote:
A year ago today, I had just come home from the hospital after surviving a life threatening illness, I could barely stand in my backyard holding one sparkler. I made a miraculous recovery and had an amazing year. Thank you God. Life is beautiful!Read more:
