The Quesarito is officially coming back to Taco Bell menus nationwide on December 18 for a limited time. The grilled quesadilla wrap was discontinued in April 2023, leing fans and Taco Bell enthusiasts upset and consistently asking for it to come back on Twitter, Reddit and Facebook threads.
Fans on Reddit even had hacks for ordering the Quesarito when it was discontinued by ordering a beefy five layer burrito with no beans, add rice and chipotle. Lovers of the breakfast quesarito had homemade versions of the meal with steak, eggs, and cheese pressed burritos like this one.
But you will no longer need to hack the menu to order the cheesy burrito or create your own variation of the discontinued menu item, because after almost two years, the beloved Quesarito will be back for the holiday season.
What is the Taco Bell Quesarito? The Quesarito is a signature grilled quesadilla wrap filled with seasoned beef, seasoned rice, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and melty cheeses. As the name suggests, it’s a crossover of a quesadilla and a burrito.
After Taco Bell released the traditional Quesarito, the company also had a Sriracha Quesarito, Volcano Quesarito, and even a Breakfast Quesarito. Each Quesarito variation was a spin-off of the original with additions such as spicy sriracha sauce, spicy la sauce, and breakfast food items. With the re-release of the Quesarito, the company hasn’t addressed whether these specialty products will be back as well.
If you’re not feeling the beef in the quesarito, you can replace it with steak, chicken, or beans to customize it to your liking.
