什么样的手机屏幕不伤眼 Who designed it?

I was talking to a client recently after presenting a well-received web design concept. Feeling good about how things were progressing, they asked, “who designed it?” Strangely after many years of doing this it’s rare I get asked that question so directly and was one I struggled to answer immediately as I had to think about it for a moment myself.

The fact is, no 'one' person designed it. Without sounding cliché, essentially it was a team effort. A team effort for one website homepage. OTT? - absolutely not. It needs the right strategic direction, architecture, user experience, layout structure, message, tone, visual style and purpose. The fact it’s a national brand and a big change to an existing and familiar online presence for millions of users are also major points to bear in mind. Then there’s the functional side, how it will operate, integrate and respond that needs care of thought.

Before even taking into account the client teams' influence and involvement, there were 3 perhaps 4 and arguably 5 people from Ryze who input and 'hands-on' worked on the page. A group of people covering all aspects mentioned earlier where each persons skill sets complimented another’s. The client laughed and joked that I was just doing the honourable thing by extending credit through the team but also knew from working with us, that it really was the case and is a key reason they love to work with us.

We lee nothing on the table and take all options into account. We he calls and meetings where we think out loud and open up the conversation to other possibilities and considerations before shutting them down quickly and moving forwards. Everything justified and everything for a reason.

Our team members are not jacks of all. They are great at a lot, but insanely good at a few. Like the best sports teams, their abilities complement each other’s to bring the best mix to every project. We create and develop together, where everyone is accountable and everyone reaps their reward of a job well done. We he a 'no-blame' culture because we are all accountable. We'll help support each other and overcome obstacles together to ensure we get the result we're all working towards. We do not settle for good enough, because, well, that would just be too easy, and too damn boring.

The right result requires the best effort, plan, expertise and skillsets. It also needs a passionate bunch of people that share those goals and I couldn't be more proud to he that team here at Ryze. Even though we are growing we will always maintain the ethos of delivering together and ensuring quality and creativity is not only sustained, but improved, always!

Nothing but progress.
