With conservative timing and good fuel, mid-600s WHP on stock bottom end is realistic for a street car.
Recommended PathStage 1 (Street Response): Intake + cat-back + custom tune → crisp throttle, +35–50whp.
Stage 2 (FI, 550–650whp): Supercharger (TVS/Whipple), ID1050x, fuel pump upgrade, proper heat management.
Watchouts: Keep IATs in check, don’t skimp on octane, and verify fuel pressure under load. Add a built bottom end if you want to live above ~650whp regularly.

2015–2017 Mustang GT (S550 Gen 2) 435 Stock HP 650+ Typical FI WHP (SBE) E85 More HP w/ CornWhy it’s great: Gen 2 validated the S550 chassis for blown street cars. With a quality blower kit, intercooling, and fueling, reliable mid-600s are common on stock internals.
Recommended PathStage 1 (Bolt-Ons): CAI, exhaust, tune → +40–60whp and better drivability.
Stage 2 (FI, 600–700whp): Whipple/TVS, injectors, pumps/boost-a-pump, colder plugs, and solid MAF/VE scaling in the tune.
Watchouts: MT-82 clutch slippage at torque—plan a clutch. Mind IAT and fuel quality. Track use benefits from extra cooling.

With a blower/turbo, proper octane, and a real fuel system, 650–750+whp is easily achievable—and we backed it with 8-second time slips.
Recommended PathStage 1 (>600rwhp): CAI, exhaust, tune.
Stage 2 (650–750whp): Whipple/turbo, fuel system upgrades, colder plugs, careful spark/fuel mapping.
Stage 3 (800+): Forged bottom end, high-octane fuel, advanced cooling, aggressive calibration.
