The Indian Government passport services portal will be unailable on Saturday, 27 December 2025, which is beyond BLS’ control. As a result, all appointments scheduled for that day he been rescheduled as listed below. We are following up with the Indian Consulate/Mission to he the portal issue resolved.Please bring your appointment confirmation letter for entry.

Passport Seva Portal Upgrade and Service Advisory
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, has upgraded the Passport Seva Portal to enhance user experience and strengthen system security.
During this transition, passport application processing and appointment services may take longer than usual. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Kindly plan to attend your scheduled appointments accordingly.
Premium Lounge (PL) Services
Premium Lounge (PL) is purely an Optional Service. Following are included in PL:
Form filling, document uploading, photocopying, photograph and return courier. Includes SMS updates and courier return of document/passport. Quicker completion of the submission process Personalized attention for every applicant by dedicated BLS staff. Refreshments in a Premium setupApplications submitted through the Premium Lounge are processed normally, without any priority by the Consulate/Mission.

Be cautious of individuals outside the BLS center who claim to be BLS staff or agents. BLS officers exclusively assist applicants inside the official BLS office. If your documents, data, or application details are compromised by these unauthorized individuals, you assume all associated risks.
Attestation/Apostille Certificate UpdateAny Apostille Certificate (including e-Apostille) issued by a competent authority in Canada no longer requires further attestation or legalization by the Consulate General of India, Toronto, Consulate General of India, Vancouver, or the High Commission of India, Ottawa (HCI-Ottawa).
