Step 1: Confirm the Router's Login Address
Not all routers use 192.168.1.1 by default. Check the label on the bottom of your router—it should list the "Admin Address" or "Login URL". If it shows 192.168.1.1, you can proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Connect to your router's Wi-Fi
Whether you're using a phone, computer, or tablet, you must first connect to the router’s Wi-Fi. If not, you won’t be able to access the login page.
Step 3: Open a Browser and Enter 192.168.1.1
After connecting to the Wi-Fi, open your preferred browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome, Edge) and enter: 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
Then click “Go” or press Enter to open the login page.
Note: Make sure to type it into the address bar, not the search box.
Step 4: Enter the Admin Username and Password
Once the page loads, you’ll be prompted to enter a username and password. The default is usually admin/admin, or in some cases, only a password is required.
This information can also be found on the router’s label. Some models he ISP-predefined credentials, or you may he set it during installation.
After entering the correct login credentials, you’ll successfully access the 192.168.1.1 admin panel where you can configure your network settings.
